Dart Machinery’s late founder and engine builder, Richard Maskin, had a “pet project” developing a special crankshaft for high-stress LS engine applications. Now, that project has come to fruition with Dart’s unique fully counterweighted LS crankshaft.

It features the unique use of eight counterweights instead of the usual six, making it fully counterweighted. The crank is precision CNC-machined from premium 4340 steel billets, and the design incorporates heavy-duty rod cheeks, as well as the LS1/LS6 short snout.
Offered in either 3.622” stock stroke or a 4.000” stroker model, the crankshaft is “rough balanced” to 1780 grams. for more info: https://www.dartheads.com/
