Fluidampr's Performance Damper for 7.3L Ford Godzilla Engine - Engine Builder Magazine

Fluidampr’s Performance Damper for 7.3L Ford Godzilla Engine

Upgrading to a Fluidampr performance damper when engine mods are done further ensures long-term durability and optimum power by controlling crankshaft torsional vibration.

Engine protection for the Ford Godzilla platform is here. Fluidampr has announced the release of a new Ford Godzilla 7.3L engine performance damper. Part number 750201 fits 2020+ 7.3L Ford Super Duty trucks, as well as 2021+ E-Series vans and crate engine with a $742 MSRP. Link to Godzilla Spec Sheet

The Ford Godzilla 7.3L engine was developed for a high-torque towing capacity in its heavy-duty truck line. However, the robustness of the iron block, pushrod engine, forged crank, six bolt mains, and aluminum heads promises loads of potential for engine swaps and crate programs. Fluidampr’s performance damper will allow Ford enthusiasts to unleash lost horsepower and torque on the street or the track.

Upgrading to a Fluidampr performance damper when engine mods are done further ensures long-term durability and optimum power by controlling crankshaft torsional vibration. In addition, a custom mandrel to power racing parts, such as a dry-sump, can easily be installed by using the damper’s pre-drilled and tapped 3.2” bolt circle pattern.

Benefits
·Crankshaft torsional vibration protection across RPM range.
·Reduce risk of crankshaft failure & wear on critical engine parts.
·Unleash lost horsepower and torque.
·Three 3/8-16 bolt holes on 3.2” pattern for custom mandrel & damper puller/installer tool
·Replaceable crankshaft hub.
·SFI 18.1 certified. Made in USA.

The damper is finished in a corrosion-resistant black zinc chromate, then laser engraved with a Fluidampr – Made in the USA logo and SFI 18.1 credential. The new Fluidampr performance damper for the Ford Godzilla 7.3L engine is available through quality parts distributors and professional engine builders.
