CP-Carrillo High-End Steel Alloys for Drag Racing

These alloys are 22% and 44% stronger, respectively, than the traditional Carrilloloy, optimizing rod design and capitalizing on stability, while reducing the weight.

Connecting rods continue to be subjected to more demanding performance environments as rpm and power levels increase. CP-Carrillo is at the forefront of technological developments with the CPC 1350 and CPC 1850 High End Steel Alloys for drag racing.

These alloys are 22% and 44% stronger, respectively, than the traditional Carrilloloy, optimizing rod design and capitalizing on stability, while reducing the weight. CP-Carrillo has extensively and successfully tested product in the most demanding racing environments. These materials are only available for custom designs, and are supplied with CP’s Multiphase CARR fasteners.
