Drag-and-Drive World Champion to be Crowned in 2023

Drag-And-Drive Addiction and Summit Racing recently announced big news in the world of drag-and-drive racing that a World Champion drag-and-drive racer will be crowned in 2023.

“It’s a points series, and we’re releasing the points very very soon,” Michael Narx of Drag-And-Drive Addition said during a weekly livestream on Wednesday March 22. “We got about 95-percent of them (points) put together.”

Points will be calculated from national-level events only, meaning at least four days of scheduled racing, plus a minimum of 625 road miles. It will be limited it to a participant’s top three events.

“We are fine tuning the points system with racers and promoters,” Narx says. Drag-And-Drive Addiction expects to have the final details and system wrapped up by the next national-level event.

“This is a huge win for the community, and I think it will bring a bunch of new eyes to the sport,” he says. More to come in the near future.
