Logan Yelton’s ’93 Dodge has gone through quite the transformation. It was once used to transport him and his wife to prom back in the day to now burning rubber on the drag strip with 1,800 horsepower on command. This 5.9L 12-valve Cummins-powered monster has done it all. See what went into the build!
When it comes to power, the engine propelling Scheid Diesel’s drag car doesn’t dissapoint. It makes 2,800 horsepower on fuel alone… no wonder it’s a record setter!

Life-sized Hot Wheels? Say less. Sean Smith and his wife built this rat rod from scratch and it was a contender in last year’s Hot Wheels Legends Tour. But it’s not only for show – thanks to a twin-turbo’d 12-valve Cummins under the hood, this ride makes quite a bit of power too!

At this year’s Ultimate Callout Challenge, we ran into more folks just starting to get into racing their diesels than we have in the past. One such racer was Connor Wagner of Wagner Diesel Solutions. His shop specializes in the Powerstroke platform, so he decided it was time to start showcasing what he can do
You can always count on Warren Diesel Injection to pull up to events in a sweet Powerstroke truck – they’ve been innovating the platform for over a decade. We saw this 6.0L at the 2023 Ultimate Callout Challenge and this thing is next level awesome.

Ryan Milliken and Rod MacMaster teamed up to build a diesel-powered Corvette to compete with the best of the PDRA Pro Boost class. Thanks to Freedom Racing Engines and Midgets Diesel Performance, among others, the turbocharged and nitrous-powered 6.8L Cummins engine was showing great signs of success. However, its now back to the drawing board for this Diesel of the Week.

We were able to find one built and owned by Corey Hurtts of CNC Fabrication. Check it out!
