Day two of the Engine Expo saw the 18th annual International Engine of the Year awards take place. In front of a capacity audience, UKIP Media and Events CEO, Tony Robinson, got proceedings underway. Ferrari’s 3.9L V8 Biturbo engine was the big winner of the day.
BMW Group Named Overall Winner at 2015 Engine of the Year Awards
Four wins in the latest International Engine of the Year Awards plainly demonstrate the BMW Group’s engine-building prowess. The drive unit in the BMW i8 earned two class wins as well as being declared overall winner, with a further class win being garnered by the engine of the BMW M3 and BMW M4.
