Moran finally finished the engine earlier in 2018 and wound up with a 5,295 hp, 100% billet engine! Today’s engine is something special. It’s made 100% of billet aluminum. It required new dyno and turbo technology to be made in order to achieve its performance goals. It took eight years to perfect and is a barrier-breaking engine combination. Moran Motorsports had an initial goal of 4,400 hp based off of turbo technology at the time. However, Moran’s horsepower goal changed with better turbos, and the engine made 5,295 hp at 7,300 rpm earlier this summer… but he’s not satisfied just yet!
