Best In The Desert Announces 2022 Race Schedule

Best In The Desert, the largest off-road race series in North America, has announced the dates and locations of its 2022 race series.

Next year’s lineup is composed of legendary favorites like the Parker 250, Parker 425, Laughlin Desert Classic, Silver State 300, and Vegas to Reno plus some new events to fill the calendar and further solidify Best In The Desert as the premier off-road desert racing series in North America.

New event names include the Adelanto Grand Prix planned for Adelanto, California slated for March 17-20, 2022 and the Battle Born 200 in Ely, Nevada on September 22-25, 2022.

A total of ten races are planned for 2022, with five point-paying races for cars, trucks, motorcycles, and quads and six points-paying events for UTVs. The season will open with the Parker 250 in Parker, Arizona on January 6-8, 2022 and will wrap up with the World Hare and Hound Championship in Tonopah, Nevada on November 4-6, 2022.

Each race will provide points that go toward the most coveted prize in all off-road desert racing, a Best In The Desert Series Championship.

“We are very excited about the 2022 schedule,” commented Best In The Desert CMO, Bryan Folks. “A lot of hard work and thought have gone into it. We’ve worked hard to provide a wide variety of events to not only challenge our racers but also a schedule that considers racing budgets and costs. In the end, we feel our racers will be tested thoroughly and whoever comes out on top will be deserving of a Best In The Desert series championship.”

“Best In The Desert has always worked hard to provide the best races possible, races that test both driver and machine,” said Jeff Phillips, Race Operations Mgr. “Bringing back some of the ‘Traditional Casey Creations’ and building a few ‘New Traditions,’ racers will see some new and exciting events. We are always looking at each race to find ways to make each one more enjoyable and more challenging for our racers. More information will be available in the weeks ahead as we finalize our event title and presenting sponsors so please stay tuned.”
