Build Horsepower the David Vizard Way - Engine Builder Magazine

Build Horsepower the David Vizard Way

The principle speaker for the event will be tech author and engine guru David Vizard. He is recognized as one of the top authorities on the production of high engine output.

Along with Vizard’s expertise, the seminar will also freature a presentation by Chris Osborn of Pac Springs, who will be showing high-speed video of springs in action, both the good and the bad, and how best to avoid spring related valve train problems.

Also supporting the program will be a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) presentation by David Woodruff of Design Dreams LLC. Vizard says attendees will get to see, for probably the first time, a viable small shop “virtual” flow bench.

Vizard says that the total cost of the seminar has been discounted due to sponsorship from Goodson, dropping the cost to $350 per person.

The full two-day seminar will include in-depth presentations on a wide variety of intriguing and controversial topics. After-hours gatherings will allow further discussions.

A barbeque style lunch ($11) will be available on site both Saturday and Sunday along with tea/coffee and soft drinks available throughout the day on both days. If you have special food needs, make it known when registering.

Doug Herbert Performance Parts recently teamed up with Vizard as a presenting sponsor along with Goodson Tools & Supplies and Engine Builder Magazine. Vizard comments: “Doug is going to make sure the knowledge to build a real power house of an engine is available to all.”

Supporting sponsors: CarTech Publishing, K&N, Dart, Total Seal, Scat, Lunati, Moroso, Jesel, Professional Products, AED and more.
