Martin J. Skok Jr., Chairman of Elgin Industries, Dead at 87
Martin J. (Marty) Skok Jr., who helped build his father’s successful engine parts manufacturing business into a truly global enterprise serving original equipment manufacturers and replacement parts distributors, died Oct. 4, 2015, at his home in Elgin, Ill., following a brief illness. He was 87.

Chris Anderson Appointed Executive VP of Elgin World Trade
Chris Anderson has been appointed Executive Vice President of Elgin World Trade, an operating unit of global engine and chassis parts manufacturer Elgin Industries. Anderson, who joined Elgin in 2000, will oversee the World Trade business’s product import, export and sales operations. He reports to Elgin President Bill Skok.
Elgin Announces New Pro-Stock Performance Catalog
A comprehensive new catalog featuring the dramatically expanded Elgin Pro-Stock line of performance components for street, racing, marine and other applications will be available at next week’s Performance Racing Industry trade show in Indianapolis. The catalog will be distributed at the Elgin Industries booth (No. 5032) in conjunction with the company’s 95th Anniversary celebration.
