The Production Engine Remanufacturers Association’s (PERA) 71st Annual Conference was held September 21-23 in Toronto, Ontario. Training sessions, shop tours and industry networking were enjoyed by more than 120 registered attendees.
During the convention, new directors and a treasurer were elected: Allan Brock, Blackwater Engines, Virginia Beach, VA and Mark Melling, Melling Engine Parts, Jackson, MI, were installed as association Directors; Randy Bauer, Jasper Engines and Transmission Exchange, Jasper, IN was elected Treasurer. Scott Miller, LKQ Remanufacturing, Grand Prairie, TX, assumed the president’s chair, replacing new immediate past president Frank Owings, Titan Engines, Ocala, FL.
