Hastings Launches New Piston Ring Website

Hastings Manufacturing Co., a nearly 100-year-old global manufacturer of piston rings, has a new look for its website, www.hastingsmfg.com.

There are now dedicated sections for OEM, Aftermarket and Performance
Racing. There is a “Site Highlights” area, where viewers can catch up on
company news and product releases. A new company video discusses the
brand’s history, notable accomplishments and awards.

It provides
information on the company’s extensive variety of products and some of
the well-known companies that use them. The video also links to the
Hastings’ YouTube channel, where other related videos are being planned
for viewing.

Distributors will find the online catalog helpful for looking up ring
packs by applications, diametrical, cross reference and individual
rings. They will also appreciate the e-Ring Center, which is a type of
distributor Intranet.

Users can log-in using a unique user name and
password to manage their account, place and manage orders, view the
online catalog and get live support from customer service.

“It’s important that our current and potential customers can easily
navigate the site and find what they need, when they need it,” said
Jeffrey Guenther, vice president of international sales. “We pride
ourselves in quality and efficiency, and our website is no exception.”
