TotalEnergies and NEXUS Automotive International Continue Partnership

TotalEnergies Lubricants and NEXUS Automotive International extended their worldwide strategic partnership for five years in an agreement signed in January 2022.

TotalEnergies Lubricants, a player in the global lubricants market, and NEXUS Automotive International, a leading group of automotive and heavy-duty parts distributors, extended their worldwide strategic partnership for a period of five years in an agreement signed on January 26, 2022.

As part of this partnership, TotalEnergies Lubriciants will be expanding its presence in the burgeoning NEXUS community, which has seen rapid growth in sales – from €7.2 billion in 2015 to nearly €35 billion by the end of 2021 – making it now the first ‘ITG’ (International Trading Group) worldwide, with 171 distributors. N! is increasing its presence in booming markets such as Africa, the Middle East, the USA, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region, which are also key markets for TotalEnergies. NEXUS will continue to expand its offerings with high-quality premium oils, while TotalEnergies will receive greater exposure through N! distributors.

The two companies share a common vision of placing innovation and customer satisfaction at the heart of their commitment. The renewal of this partnership also provides an opportunity to work together on new areas of growth, particularly by offering more sustainable and responsible solutions for aftermarket sales.

Jean Parizot, Vice President Automotive at TotalEnergies Lubricants says: “We have already been working alongside NEXUS for several years, and the renewal of our strategic partnership reflects our common objective of seeking excellence and innovation. TotalEnergies Lubricants is committed to protecting the environment by reducing the impact of our activities in every country where we operate. We are proud of this expanding collaboration with the new global leader in automotive spare parts, which is likewise especially proactive in sustainable development.”

Gael Escribe, CEO at NEXUS Automotive International, adds: “The partnership with TotalEnergies Lubricants is a major asset for NEXUS, given that we have numerous synergies in very specific markets that require customized solutions. Since innovation is a core NEXUS value, TotalEnergies and NEXUS share a commitment to sustainable development and the circular economy, one that ensures we can make a contribution to carbon-free growth.”
