SBI’s Growth Leads to New Leadership Promotions

Ryan Hamilton, President and CEO of SBI, the trusted valvetrain name in the automotive aftermarket, has announced a transformative period of growth and expansion in 2023, marked by strategic position changes within the company. These appointments not only reflect S.B. International’s commitment to enhancing its operational efficiency, but also underscore its dedication to providing exceptional products and services to its valued customers.

Derek Data, a seasoned executive with 30+ years of operational and finance experience, including the last 2 years at SBI, assumes the position of Executive Vice President / Chief Financial Officer. With his keen financial acumen, Derek is set to steer SBI towards continued excellence and sustainable growth in the coming years.

Philip Data, an expert in sales and marketing with 12 years in the Auto Aftermarket, including the last 5 years at SBI, assumes the position of Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. His strategic vision and customer-focused approach will further strengthen SBI’s market presence and bolster customer relationships.

Hal Knight, a talented Information Technology specialist with 28 years of experience including the last 16 years at SBI, assumes the role of Vice President of IT. His expertise will advance business optimization, enhancing the company’s digital capabilities and streamlining internal processes.

Terry Pierce, the newly appointed Director of Materials and Distribution, brings 30 years of experience having worked previously for industry leading companies like Lucas Milhaupt and Federal Mogul. His expertise in materials management and distribution will be invaluable in optimizing the supply chain and ensuring the seamless delivery of products to our customers.

AJ Orchowski, takes charge as National Sales Manager, bringing 15 years of Auto Aftermarket sales experience, including the last 2 years at SBI, aims to drive revenue growth and foster strong partnerships with clients nationwide.

David Moore, assumes the role of Product Manager, leveraging his impressive background of 8 years at SBI and 15 years in a heavy-duty machine shop. With his wealth of experience in product development, David steps into this role with unparalleled expertise. He will be instrumental in keeping SBI’s industry leading quality standards in place.

Steve Morrow, joins the team as Purchasing Manager, bringing valuable insights from his 8 years at Jasper Engines & Transmissions. His expertise will be instrumental in optimizing procurement processes and ensuring the availability of high-quality components.

Melissa Fergus, joins the team as Assistant Purchasing Manager, adding invaluable shipping and logistics experience from her time at DSV. Her expertise in supply chain management will enhance SBI’s efficiency in delivering products to customers.

Kenia Alderson, steps into the role of Customer Service Manager. Her exceptional customer service skills and dedication to customer satisfaction will ensure that SBI continues to deliver unparalleled service to its customers.

Stephanie Pierce, joins the team as Accounts Receivable Manager, adding 28 years of finance, banking, and office management experience. She brings strong financial acumen with distinguished management experience, making her the perfect addition to the SBI Finance team.

Basyir Nasution, joins the team as Marketing Specialist. He brings a background in automotive photography and adds a creative edge to the marketing team. His skills will be instrumental in enhancing the company’s marketing strategies and visual representation in the industry.
