Dayco to Offer eXtra Loyalty Program

Shops can earn points for Dayco kit and water pump purchases.

Dayco, an engine products and drive systems supplier for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries, has become a partner brand for the industry’s eXtra loyalty program.

eXtra is a multi-brand loyalty offering geared toward automotive repair shop owners that allows them to buy, earn and redeem points without cutting box tops or tracking sales. It currently has 17,000 participating shop owners in the U.S. and Canada, and is growing rapidly.

Shops that are registered in the eXtra program now have access to eligible Dayco products, and can earn points for purchases that can be redeemed for more than a million items, including everything from high-end merchandise, apparel and electronics from major retailers to travel vouchers, gift certificates and business solutions. In addition, there are giveaways and incentives for shops as well as daily promotions and regular communication on new products, training information and educational content from the program’s brand partners.

Dayco products offered through the eXtra program include:

  • Serpentine Belt Kits – Covering the most popular applications, these kits feature OE equivalent components including a premium tensioner with flat spring technology and a durable pulley with permanently lubricated bearings to help reduce vibration and increase belt life. Kits also come with a Dayco serpentine belt that provides extensive flexibility and longer service life.
  • Timing Belt Water Pump Kits – Designed for the replacement of worn or damaged timing belts, tensioners, idler pulleys and water pumps, Dayco’s kits (both with and without water pumps) are application-specific to ensure parts accuracy, time savings and long-lasting performance. OE-quality, tough wear-resistant belts, idler pulleys with tighter dimensional tolerances and tensioners that resist cracking and fatigue. Kits are designed to save time and enhance vehicle performance.
  • Timing Chain Kits – Backed by an industry best warranty, these kits include top-grade timing chains that prevent stretch, precision machined crank sprockets and cam sprockets for a flawless fit as well as tensioners, high-grade plastic guides, seals, VVT solenoids and cam phasers if the application calls for it.
  • Water Pumps – Dayco’s premium mechanical water pumps are 100% new cast aluminum or iron pumps that feature metal impellers, roller bearings and premium seals. And its line of electric water pumps offer a direct fit bolt-on replacement, metal impellers and corrosion resistant bearings.

“This program has been well received in the industry and is growing quickly. It’s extremely easy for shops to participate and we love that it offers Dayco a way to reward those repair shops who purchase from us,” said Tom Tecklenburg, VP of Dayco N.A. Sales & Marketing. “Plus it gives us an opportunity to educate eXtra shop members on the quality and effectiveness of all of our kits and system solutions and what sets the Dayco brand apart from competitive products.”

U.S. repair shops interested in the eXtra program should visit extra-awards.com/, and Canadian shops www.extra-awards.ca. For more information about Dayco, log on to the Dayco Tech Hub.
