Wiseco has developed 3.900” stroke pistons for Chevy LS engines for use with aftermarket crankshafts. With bore sizes ranging from 3.780” to 4.185” it offers potential displacements from 350 to 429 cubic inches. Forged in-house from race-proven 2618 aluminum alloy, these pistons are available with a variety of dome configurations providing a compression ratio of 9.1:1 to 13.4:1 – ideal for naturally aspirated and boosted applications.
Other attributes include a strutted design for maximum strength at minimum weight, an additional 0.050” in piston compression height for extra robustness, and Wiseco’s ArmorGlide skirt coating that reduces friction and improves power. Additionally, 3.900” stroke pistons come with heavy-duty H13 tool steel wrist pins and a set of 1.2mm, 1.2mm and 3.0mm GFX piston rings.
