King Engine Bearings’ new advanced bearing materials will be at the 2015 AAPEX show November 3-5 in Las Vegas. The needs of modern engines combined with today’s environmental restrictions has led King to develop new advanced bearing materials which can withstand greater load than traditional materials while remaining environmentally friendly.

King will also present new hot applications such as the new Chrysler Pentastar 3.6L V6 (CR6857SM), made of the SM material which is the strongest aluminum based material available today. The SM material is strengthened by the addition of Magnese Chrome (Mn, Cr), designated for high load applications.

“King’s R&D unit is following market trends and constantly developing solutions for the raised demands,” says Limor N. DePetro, King VP of marketing & sales. “Our new strengthened bearings are both environmentally responsible and also can withstand extreme loads.”

King will also display its new XP Race bearings applications that feature a proprietary pMax Black tri-metal composition, which combined with unique geometric features, results in a 24 percent load capacity increase over standard race bearings.
