The Recreational Off-Highway Association Welcomes YANMAR as Newest Member

The Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association has announced YANMAR has joined the leading recreational off-highway vehicle (ROV) industry organization.

The Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association has announced YANMAR has joined the leading recreational off-highway vehicle (ROV) industry organization.
YANMAR has grown to become a major supplier of YANMAR-branded industrial and marine diesel engines, diesel generators, micro cogeneration and gas heat pump energy system solutions, compact construction equipment, compact utility tractors, and now ROVs, employing thousands of dedicated team members throughout the world. YANMAR joins others in the ROV industry to protect and promote the welfare of the ROV community.
“We are excited to have such a longstanding company and a distributor of recreational off-highway vehicles join ROHVA,” said ROHVA Executive Vice President Erik Pritchard. “YANMAR will play a vital role in supporting ROHVA’s mission to promote the safe and responsible use of ROVs and the continued development of robust voluntary vehicle standards through the American National Standards Institute. In turn, YANMAR and its customers will benefit from ROHVA’s safety and education materials, as well as our extensive work with Congress, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, state legislatures, land managers, national rider groups, and others.”
“YANMAR has a long history in the UTV market as an OEM manufacturer and supplier of diesel engines and driveline components to numerous well-respected brands within the industry. It’s just a natural progression for YANMAR to introduce our own line of vehicles,” said Tim Fernandez, president of YANMAR America Corporation. “We look forward to working with ROHVA and its member companies on important issues that face our customers, our dealers, and our industry.”
