Franck Bagouet, formerly the president of Total Canada, has been promoted to senior vice president – lubricants, Total Specialties USA. Franck Bagouet

Bagouet joins Total Specialties USA as a 30-year veteran of Total, the last five being with Total Canada.

“I am very eager to begin this next chapter,” commented Bagouet. “The United States presents an exciting market for the lubricants business and I look forward to meeting that challenge. It is bittersweet for me to leave Total Canada. The relationships I built there were truly remarkable, and the Total Canada team continually made client satisfaction a top priority.”

Bagouet said he is looking forward to strengthening existing relationships and developing new partnerships in the United States in his new role. With a strong sales and marketing background, primarily in finished lubricants, Bagouet plans to re-energize the Total Lubricants USA sales organization with a focus on product differentiation in the marketplace.

“Franck Bagouet will make a big impact on the USA market,” said Ernst Wanten. “I expect that he will continue the growth and strengthen the profitability of the USA affiliate, leveraging the notable successes of his predecessors while adding his personal touch to this.”

Bagouet will be based in the company’s Linden, NJ technical headquarters and blending facility, overseeing staff in Houston, TX and across the USA.
