Arent will replace Jerry Hendrix, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Melling Engine Parts has named Steve Arent to the position of eastern regional sales manager. Arent joins Melling with more than 17 years in the automotive aftermarket. He comes to Melling/Dura-Bond from Dart Machinery, where he has served as national sales manager since 2006. Arent also worked at Keith Eickert Performance Products and Paul Pfaff Enterprises.
Arent is a graduate of Citrus College in Azusa, Calif. He will replace Jerry Hendrix, who is retiring at the end of the year. In announcing Hendrix’ retirement, Melling management stated, “We wish Jerry Hendrix well and thank him for his service to Melling/Dura-Bond.”
