UTI and NAPA Team Up to Train Technicians

UTI and NAPA team up to train technicians in state of the industry facilities, with special guests Chase Elliot and Ron Capps.

The future of the automotive aftermarket is dependent on skilled technicians receiving state-of-the-industry training – and NAPA AUTO PARTS is investing to create lasting change in aftermarket education and training.

That’s why NAPA AUTO PARTS and Universal Technical Institute (UTI) are coming together on Thursday, May 26 with two special guests – 2020 NASCAR Cup Champion Chase Elliott and NHRA Funny Car Champion Ron Capps to celebrate the newly branded NAPA Lab at UTI’s NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville. UTI students will receive state-of-the-industry, hands-on training through NAPA-supplied labs, including brake kits, rotors, bulbs, bearing kits, wheel weights, and more.

The event is open to media, and interviews are available with Chase, Ron and NAPA executives, so you can learn more about how this collaboration will manifest for years to come.

Virtual interviews are available for media unable to attend onsite. Let us know if you have questions – thanks!
