Motorsports Safety Organization ICMS To Hold Annual Congress at PRI

For the fifth consecutive year, the world’s pre-eminent motorsports safety conference, the International Council of Motorsports Sciences (ICMS), will return as a part of Race Industry Week in conjunction with the 27th annual PRI Trade Show at the Indiana Convention Center, Dec. 11-13.

VP Racing Fuels Appoints Kelley Hendel General Manager for Consumer Products

VP Racing Fuels, Inc., announced the appointment of Kelley Hendel as General Manager-Consumer Products. Based at the company’s corporate headquarters in San Antonio, Texas, Hendel will be responsible for overseeing customer service and support for distributors, dealers and retail customers who purchase VP’s consumer products including VP Small Engine Fuels, VP Madditives and VP PowerWash, as well as VP PowerMaster hobby fuel.

Engine Builder Magazine to Co-Host Tech Seminars at PRI

Engine Builder magazine, in conjunction with Auto Video Inc., will co-host two technical training seminars at the 2014 Performance Racing Industry trade show in Indianapolis. Analytical expert Ron Bilyeu will lead the free training courses held Friday and Saturday during the show.

Centroid to Lead CNC Seminar at 2014 PRI Show

Centroid will be hosting a CNC seminar at the 2014 PRI Show located in meeting room #205 on Friday, December 12 at 10:00am at the Indiana Convention Center. The CNC seminar will discuss CNC cylinder head porting, CNC block machining, CNC parts creation, digitizing, and CAD/CAM.

King Engine Bearings is sponsoring a unique technical seminar at the 2014 PRI Trade Show, featuring expert engine builders Jay Dickens and Magnus Ohlaker. Ed Pink Receives Prestigious Robert E. Petersen Award

Legendary engine builder Ed Pink is this year’s recipient of the prestigious Robert E. Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award, presented at the recent SEMA trade show in Las Vegas. At the breakfast awards ceremony, Pink was introduced by Meguiars Car Care founder and host of the “Car Crazy” TV show, Barry Meguiar.

BMW Picks Shell as Global Oil Supplier of Choice

Shell has announced that it has been chosen by BMW AG as the only recommended supplier for aftermarket engine oils for the nearly all of BMW’s brands including MINI and BMW Motorrad. Shell premium engine and motorcycle oils will be supplied for BMW service-fills around the world.

TI Automotive Adopts TI Automotive as Brand Name for Products

TI Automotive announced at the 2014 SEMA Show that it has adopted TI Automotive as the brand name for all of its high-performance aftermarket products. Previously, the company had manufactured fuel pumps under the Walbro brand name.
