NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2021

NASCAR has announced the inductees who will comprise the NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2021. Dale Earnhardt Jr., Red Farmer and Mike Stefanik make up the Hall of Fame’s 12th class, and first with three members. In addition, Ralph Seagraves was named as the recipient of the Landmark Award for Outstanding Contributions to NASCAR.

SEMA Hall of Fame Names Three New Members

GiGi Carleton, Doug Evans and Barry Meguiar will receive the industry’s highest honor and be inducted into the SEMA Hall of Fame. The new members will be recognized as part of the festivities during the SEMA Installation Gala on Friday, July 28, 2017, at the Sheraton Fairplex Conference Center in Pomona, Calif.

Elgin Industries Recognized as John Deere Partner-Level and Hall of Fame Supplier

Elgin Industries has earned recognition as a Partner-Level Supplier for 2016 and was inducted into the Supplier Hall of Fame in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. Hall of Fame status is given after a supplier attains a Partner-Level rating for five consecutive years. Partner-Level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating.

Bertha Benz Inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame

Bertha Benz, first female automotive pioneer, was recently inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame. As the visionary business partner of engineer husband Carl Benz (inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame in 1984), she played a significant role in the filing of the first patent for the automobile in 1886 and demonstrating the roadgoing capability of her husband’s invention.

Louis Senter Has Passed Away at the Age of 95

Louis Senter—one of SEMA’s founding members and a Hall of Famer—died Saturday, May 28. He was 95. Senter got his start by building and modifying engines for midgets and other forms of oval-track racing. He was the founder of Ansen Automotive and, later, the Senter Wheel Company.

Robert Yates has proven that hard work, true grit, and the quest for excellence will lead to success in NASCAR. Put an engine in front of Yates and he could create horsepower. His career started at Holman Moody Racing and Yates quickly became an engine building genius.

Dart’s Maskin Inducted Into Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame

Among this year’s inductees into the Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame is Dart Machinery founder Richard Maskin. Following his success as a drag racer, crew chief and engine builder, Maskin went on to establish Dart as a leader in race engine components manufacturing.

2016 NASCAR Hall of Fame Class Announced

NASCAR has announced the inductees who will comprise the NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2016. The five-person group – the seventh in NASCAR Hall of Fame history – consists of Jerry Cook, Bobby Isaac, Terry Labonte, O. Bruton Smith and Curtis Turner. In addition, NASCAR announced that Harold Brasington won the Landmark Award for Outstanding Contributions to NASCAR.
