Cloyes to Showcase High Performance Products at PRI 2018

The company’s Hex-A-Just True Roller Speed Set and Z-Series Racing Chain will be included in the PRI Show’s Featured Products Showcase.

A leader in the automotive aftermarket and high-performance engine components market, Cloyes Gear & Products, Inc., will have its full line of timing drive system products on display during the annual PRI trade show, December 6 – 8, 2018 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

After developing and patenting the first True Roller Timing Set in 1970, Cloyes revolutionized the high-performance timing market and has continued to innovate with timing system components such as the Hex-A-Just True Roller Speed Set, the Quick Button Two-Piece Timing Cover, and Z-Series Racing Chain.

“Cloyes has a long history working in the high-performance engine and racing markets with our easy-to-use, high quality timing systems,” said Ryan Smith, sales and marketing manager for Cloyes. “The annual PRI Show gives us the opportunity to speak directly with the end-users of our products. Those users provide us with product performance feedback which allows us to continuously improve the Cloyes timing system product offering.”

Cloyes’ Hex-A-Just True Roller Speed Set and Z-Series Racing Chain will also be included in this year’s Featured Products Showcase. An industry breakthrough when introduced in 1992, the Cloyes Hex-A-Just True Roller Speed Set is the industry standard in adjustable cam timing. The Hex-A-Just True Roller Speed Set requires no machining or fumbling with offset bushings and is infinitely adjustable to plus or minus six degrees. Z-Series Racing Chains are the top choice of professional teams in sprint, circle, track, drag, and off-road racing. The exclusive Cloyes “Z” chain is the most durable and dependable chain available today – offering 33 percent more overall strength than current premium chains.

To view the company’s entire high-performance timing system product line, as well as its stock replacement parts, visit Cloyes in booth #4215 during the three-day event.

U.S. Representative John Joyce (R-PA) has introduced H.R. 1435, the “Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act,” a bill designed to protect Americans’ right to choose the technology that powers their motor vehicles. The bill was introduced in response to the California Air Resources Board’s plans to ban the sale of new internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles by 2035. The Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act would restrict the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from issuing a waiver for regulations that would ban the sale or use of new motor vehicles with internal combustion engines. The bill is critically important to stopping CARB’s plans to ban ICE vehicles, which requires the EPA to waive federal preemption provisions in the Clean Air Act in order for California’s zero-emissions vehicle (ZEV) mandate to go into effect.
