WISSOTA Auto Racing Sets the Record Straight

WISSOTA is a sanctioning body comprised of member tracks that elect a Board of Directors to over see the daily operations performed by the hired employees. All decisions are based on the best interest of the member tracks and drivers as well as the sport in general. Any and all announcements regarding class and track sanctions will be forthcoming after the December 18 meeting by the tracks involved and by WISSOTA.

1In the last few days there have been numerous stories, rumors concerning the sanctioning of certain classes as well as certain tracks associated with WISSOTA. Please be advised that these are nothing more than speculations. There has not been any formal request made to date nor has there been any decisions rendered regarding any sanctioning by WISSOTA.

The December monthly meeting date of the 18th was set prior to any of these rumors and that date has not been altered. The main purpose every year of the December meeting is to review all contracts submitted by all tracks and approve or disapprove has deemed appropriate.
