Donnie McDaniel FINALAmerican Green Ventures, Inc. has announced it has hired Donnie McDaniel as its new southwest territory sales manager for the SpillFix Industrial Organic Absorbent. Mr. McDaniel has more than 20 years of experience managing sales for government, commercial, industrial, and construction accounts. SpillFix instantly absorbs hazardous liquid spills on contact, including oils, fuels, solvents, paints and chemicals, enabling faster, cleaner, safer and more effective clean up with minimal downtime.

“Donnie has a broad range of sales experience in the industrial supply market, in both the commercial and government sectors.  He also has a longtime connection to the Texas area,” said David J. Roache, CEO of Galuku Group North America, the parent company of American Green Ventures. “These will be key assets for us as we introduce Spillfix to the southwestern United States.”

Prior to joining American Green Ventures, Mr. McDaniel was a sales manager of government sales and national accounts for D&G Supplies, a national industrial facility maintenance, vehicle maintenance, aircraft maintenance and construction wholesale supplier based in Fort Worth, Texas.  He was also vice president of sales for 14 years for Best Products Company, Inc., an industrial and construction supply company in Denton, Texas.  His accounts have included BAE Systems, Borden, Inc., Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC, Coors Brewing Company, Cummins, Inc., Eaton, General Dynamics, General Mills, Johnson Controls, Inc., Lockheed Martin, and Procter and Gamble Co. Mr. McDaniel graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in business administration with a minor in marketing.

“A large number of industries operate in the southwest that need a product like SpillFix, including oil and gas, and mining,” said Donnie McDaniel.  “SpillFix can minimize the threat to worksite safety posed by hazardous liquid spills, which can lead to the loss of productivity, injury, and liability.”

SpillFix is made from a bi-product of the coconut (coir), which is an organic, renewable resource that is non-carcinogenic, contains no chemicals and is silica free. When compared to clay-based absorbents, SpillFix clients need 80 percent less product to clean up spills in less than half the time. SpillFix is dust-free, non-abrasive and there is no after residue often left with heavy sticky clay or absorbent pads. SpillFix can be reused to clean up more than one spill due to its superior absorbency, further adding to its cost savings. SpillFix is also landfill safe, providing lower disposal cost than other absorbent products with no environmental impact.
