Federal-Mogul Motorparts received three awards for excellence in business-to-consumer and business-to-business communication in the annual Automotive Communications Award program sponsored by the Car Care Council Women’s Board and Automotive Communication Council. The awards were presented during the 2015 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas.

The Automotive Communications Awards highlight outstanding advertising, marketing, public relations, promotions, social media and other communication activities designed to reach vehicle owners as well as trade professionals, including owners, service writers and technicians at the more than 220,000 automotive service locations in the U.S.

Federal-Mogul Motorparts received awards for excellence in three categories: Media Outreach to a Female Audience; Logo Design/Usage; and Posters and Signage. The company’s ANCO Road Trip Contest for Pinterest, which encouraged consumers to document road trips they would like to take within the U.S. or Canada, was selected as best example of Media Outreach to a Female Audience category. The company’s winning entry in the Logo Design/Usage category was the iconic logo developed for the Garage Gurus technical education platform comprising state-of-the-art technical education centers, web-connected “Gurus-On-The-Go” product technology vans and extensive eLearning curriculum at www.FMgaragegurus.com. In the Posters and Signage Category, Motorparts’ MOOG NASCAR Championship poster, recognizing the 49 consecutive Cup Series champions who have relied on MOOG Steering and Suspension parts, was selected by the judges.

“I’d like to thank our marketing and communications team for their creativity in effectively communicating the core safety, reliability and performance benefits of Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ premium branded products,” said Laura Soave, senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer, Federal-Mogul Motorparts.

The Car Care Council Women’s Board comprises professional women and men from the automotive aftermarket who are dedicated to providing career leadership to women in the automotive aftermarket, providing car care information to female audiences and encouraging young people to investigate opportunities in the automotive aftermarket. The Automotive Communication Council (ACC) is a national, non-profit organization of marketing professionals engaged in public relations, advertising, branding and other communication practices for automotive aftermarket companies.
