Edelbrock’s Steve Whipple Honored as PWA’s Person of the Year

Edelbrock's own Steve Whipple has been selected Performance Warehouse Association’s 2015 Person of the Year. Every year, the Performance Warehouse Association (PWA) announces its Person of the Year award at the annual SEMA Industry Awards Banquet.

steve-whipple-tnEdelbrock’s own Steve Whipple has been selected Performance Warehouse Association’s 2015 Person of the Year. Every year, the Performance Warehouse Association (PWA) announces its Person of the Year award at the annual SEMA Industry Awards Banquet. The award is voted on by the distributor membership of PWA for individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the specialty equipment industry.

Steve Whipple has been with Edelbrock for over 16 years as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Steve got his start in aftermarket manufacturing with Nitrous Oxide Systems, working there managing the Sales and Marketing departments. He began his career in the industry on the retail side with Super Shops in the 1976, working with them for over 20 years, as they became the largest speed shop chain in the country.

Whipple said “I’m very honored to have been recognized as the 2015 Person of the Year by the Performance Warehouse Association. I would like to thank the members of PWA, along with my friends, family and coworkers for their support. I really have to give special thanks my team at Edelbrock. When you have good people that are really passionate about their work and the industry, it makes everybody’s job easier and our customers see that.”
