APRA Says Beware of Big R Show Hotel Reservation Scam

Association says group called Global Housing Management is not associated with APRA.

The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) has issued a warning for Big R show attendees: If you receive a telephone call from Global Housing Management, regarding making your hotel reservation at the Tropicana Hotel for the 2013 Big R Show, this is a scam. This company is not connected with APRA or the Big R Show, the association says.

APRA is advising that if you have made a reservation with this company, you should refuse this charge on your credit card. We have contacted the Tropicana and they are very aware of this company. This company will charge your card and when you show up at the Tropicana, they have no record of your reservation.

If you have made your reservation with this company, email Magathan@buyreman to notify APRA.

The correct and safe way to make a reservation at the Tropicana for this year’s Big R Show is by going to the official website – www.bigrshow.com.
