Endural Expands Product Line and Production Capabilities

In order to meet increased demand from many different segments of the remanufacturing industry, Endural LLC has purchased a 42,000 square foot industrial building next to its existing Costa Mesa, CA production facility. In order to meet increased demand from many different segments of the remanufacturing industry, Endural LLC has purchased a 42,000 square foot industrial building next to its existing Costa Mesa, CA production facility. The addition will allow the space needed to install a new state-of-the-art rotary thermoforming machine from MAAC Machine of Carol Stream, IL.

“This new machine will provide flexibility and efficiency in the production of plastic, returnable transportation cases for the remanufacturing industry,” says Jim Burra, Endural president.

In addition to reusable transportation cases for engines and transmissions, Endural has added cases for hybrid batteries, rear axles and diesel particulate filters to its line of products. The complete Endural line is available in high performance ESD materials (both static dissipative and conductive) as well as standard High Density Polyethylene.

“Returnable shipping containers which perform in rugged environments are a specialty with us,” Burra says. “Automotive and other quality and environmentally conscious organizations have relied on our containers for more than 50 years.”

According to Sue Williams, vice president of sales and marketing, new products plus an increase in sales to existing customers both contributed to the need for the expansion.

“Our reputation has been enhanced by our ability to produce custom containers for unique applications. Endural now has even greater means to engineer, tool and produce custom formed products on relatively short notice,” Williams says.
