Gary Thompson of ABS Products Has Passed Away

Gary Thompson, president and founder of ABS Products and Trader Magazine of Brea, California, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at his office.

Gary Thompson, president and founder of ABS Products and Trader Magazine of Brea, California, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at his office.
Gary was a strong supporter of AERA and the Engine Rebuilders Educational Foundation (EREF). He is a past Associate Member Chairman for the board of directors and often gave his marketing and strategic vision for many programs at AERA. Gary’s legacy will live on through his businesses which will both remain operating. His daughter Cyndi Johnson along with longtime business partner Ron Storer will be taking over the day to day operations with the help of granddaughter Jessica Johnson and his long-term staff.
Gary is survived by his daughter Cyndi Johnson; son Gary William Thompson; granddaughter Jessica Johnson and great granddaughter Sabrina Johnson.
A celebration of life will take place in Brea, California on Saturday, October 8, 1-5 pm at the home of Al and Jane Teague (longtime friends of Gary’s): 921 Ethelinda Way, Brea, CA 92821.
