Rockford Systems, LLC announced today the expansion of its executive sales management team with the addition of new sales leadership for key accounts and the structural realigning of its regional sales organization. The steps are being taken in direct response to company growth and surging market demand for its innovative machine safeguarding solutions and services.

To lead the growth in Rockford Systems’ corporate sales, Mike Spain joins the company as director of Key Accounts, a new position within the company. Mr. Spain is a 22-year veteran of the machine safeguarding and automation industries, having held senior sales management positions at RSA, Omron, IDEC Corp., and Klocker Moeller. His role will be to apply a collaborative approach focusing on the management and development of large, multi-site global customers ensuring that their needs are understood, met and exceeded. In addition, he will work with the company’s regional managers to increase brand awareness, customer and sales staff satisfaction, and sales. He will report directly to Matt Brenner, vice president of Sales for Rockford Systems, LLC.

“We are in a period of rapid growth and will benefit from Mike’s wealth of experience in sales management, competitive intelligence, marketing, and strategic planning,” said Brenner. “He is a proven leader with a passion for finding innovative solutions to complex challenges – a great addition to our sales team.”

As a result of a comprehensive business evaluation, Rockford Systems has realigned management of its sales territories and shifted resources to support key markets.

“I’m confident that the efforts we’re putting into building a great sales organization will strengthen relationships with our customers and partners,” explained Brenner.

Under the new structure, Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and Safety Specialist Phil Reuter has been reassigned to the Central Region. Also, Steve Emanual has been promoted to regional sales manager for the Eastern Region. Emanual was formally the company’s installation manager, a position he held for 16 years.
