PurePower Technologies Appoints Greg Butler as Executive VP, Operations

PurePower Technologies, a leader in engineering and remanufacturing of diesel fuel injectors and turbochargers for OEMs and the aftermarket, has appointed Greg Butler as executive vice president of operations.

PurePower Technologies, a leader in engineering and remanufacturing of diesel fuel injectors and turbochargers for OEMs and the aftermarket, has appointed Greg Butler as executive vice president of operations.

In this role, Butler will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, formulating policies and strategic plans for future growth, and managing all personnel, purchasing and administration functions, and will report to Jerry Sweetland, president and CEO, PurePower Technologies.

Butler returns to PurePower Technologies from FN America, Columbia, S.C., where he was vice president and COO since 2013. Previously, he held increasingly responsible roles within PurePower at the company’s Blythewood, S.C. manufacturing facility from 2006 – 2013, serving most recently as director, Engine Systems Business Unit. Earlier, Butler was a senior program manager, Manufacturing at Raytheon Technical Systems, Indianapolis, Ind., and plant manager, Owens Corning, Indianapolis, Ind.

“We welcome Greg back to PurePower Technologies as he brings a wealth of operational experience to our senior leadership team,” said Sweetland. “His high-energy, results-oriented approach will make him a highly effective leader at PurePower, and will serve us well as we continue on our accelerated path of continued growth.”

Butler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational management from Oakland City University, Oakland City, IN, and a Master’s of Science degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, IN.
