IPD Names New President

Industrial Parts Depot, an aftermarket provider of engine components for heavy-duty diesel and natural gas powered engines, has named Michael J. Badar as IPD's new president.

Industrial Parts Depot, a leading aftermarket provider of engine components for heavy-duty diesel and natural gas powered engines, has named Michael J. Badar as IPD’s new president.

Badar has more than 25 years of broad industry and functional experience, having held leadership roles in operations, finance, sales, marketing, and general management. He has led companies and initiatives in firms ranging from startups to Fortune 100, in environments including rapid growth, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic crossroads. He was most recently president of Glide Rite Corporation.

He holds a BS in Economics and Finance from Marquette University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Michael reports to the CEO of IPD’s parent company, Storm Industries, Inc.

Since 1955, IPD has focused on helping equipment owners save money without risk to reliability. IPD continues to build on over 60 years of manufacturing experience with quality products, technical innovation, and superior customer service and support. IPD’s product line includes diesel and natural gas replacement engine parts for Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Volvo and Waukesha engine applications.
