ZF Aftermarket Launches [pro]Tech Workshop Service

ZF Aftermarket has launched the workshop service ZF [pro]Tech for the US market. The knowledge based workshop service connects technicians to everyday needs in order to make their shop successful.

An ever-changing automotive future requires knowledge from the pros to keep up-to-date. ZF Aftermarket has launched the workshop service ZF [pro]Tech for the US market. The knowledge based workshop service connects technicians to everyday needs in order to make their shop successful.

“ZF [pro]Tech brings progressive technology and relevant industry expertise to workshops. Training content and increasing digitalization allow us to provide the highest possible standard of technical knowledge to make workshops even more competitive,” emphasizes Mark Cali, head of ZF Independent Aftermarket, United States & Canada. “Our mission is to cater to technicians in the best possible way and prepare them for the automotive future.”

The ZF [pro]Tech workshop service concept provides independent workshops with a comprehensive service package that includes access to vehicle-specific installation instructions, service information, online catalogs, tech bulletins, recorded webinars and a dedicated telephone hotline.

“What makes ZF [pro]Tech so special is the diversity of our training offering,” explains Dirk Fuchs, technical training manager. “Courses are hands-on, practical trainings, held through-out the year close to our regional partners. These trainings provide not only a full analysis of driveline, chassis, and steering systems, but also the opportunity to share knowledge with other specialists and extend one’s own network.”

ZF [pro]Tech started in Germany in 2012 by providing 10 training courses. This successful workshop service has grown to over 60 courses a year in nearly 10 countries across the world. The courses have a strong practical emphasis that complements the theory, and are continuously updated in line with ZF’s development in its chosen areas of driveline, chassis, steering and safety. The course content ranges from assembly, repair and servicing of 6HP, 8HP and 9HP automatic transmissions and torque converters to troubleshooting and diagnosing ADAS issues in modern chassis systems. ZF [pro]Tech will also offer modules on high-voltage systems that address the increasing demand for hybrid and electric vehicles.

Those interested in knowledge from the pros and being a ZF [pro]tech partner, can find out more information and apply online at protech.zf.com.
