Hastings Premium Filters Hosts Hastings University

Hastings University, which is presented by Hastings design engineers and other staff members, is designed to broaden awareness of today’s filtration theories and practices.

Hastings Premium Filters recently welcomed distributors to its three-day filtration seminar, Hastings University at its headquarters in Kearney, Nebraska.

Distributors from Texas, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, Iowa, North Dakota, Kansas, Ohio Wisconsin, New York, Nebraska and Georgia joined newly hired Hastings employees to learn more about filtration and specifically the Hastings advantages in the marketplace.

“Hastings University is designed to give both our distributors and our employees a deeper understanding of Hastings and how we approach manufacturing filtration products. By including both distributors and employees, both groups gain a different perspective about our filters and their worth in the marketplace,” said Steve Englund, Hastings Training Manager.

Hastings University, which is presented by Hastings design engineers and other staff members, is designed to broaden awareness of today’s filtration theories and practices. Plant and lab tours enable attendees to see Baldwin’s vertically integrated approach to manufacturing its filtration products and see first hand research being done on existing and future filtration concepts.

Information about Hastings Premium Filters’ Cataloging, Customer Service, Quality Assurance and Technical Services are a part of the course. Discussions about preventive maintenance practices, and extended oil drain intervals – all concerns of today’s heavy equipment operator – are also featured during the seminar.

Hastings Premium Filters, a CLARCOR company, produces over 4,000 lube, air, fuel, hydraulic, coolant and transmission filtration products for most applications, and can be purchased from distributors worldwide.
