Lubrication Specialties Names Nikki Stoughton Director of Marketing

LSI President Brett Tennar recently announced the appointment of Nikki Stoughton as the company’s new director of marketing.

LSI President Brett Tennar recently announced the appointment of Nikki Stoughton as the company’s new director of marketing. Lubrication Specialties Inc. (LSI) is a manufacturer of performance chemicals and specialty lubrication products in the USA. Additionally, LSI provides new product development for private label and has expanded its family of brands to include Frantz Filter, GREM, Microwave Renewable Technologies and Fluid Recovery.

Stoughton, hired in October, is an award winning brand manager with history of developing data-driven, “big picture” marketing strategy to identify new product or market opportunities. A self-professed marketing geek, Stoughton has a background of account-based, integrated marketing for diverse industries – hospitality, chemical, financial, education and pharmaceutical. Immediately prior to her position at LSI, she worked first as a solutions marketing manager and then brand marketing manager for CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society, where she managed the company’s flagship brand SciFinder. As brand marketing manager, Stoughton exhibited an exceptional ability to create initiatives that ensured rapid market adoption and outstanding customer engagement.

Prior, Stoughton worked as the marketing manager at Exceptional Innovation Inc., a hospitality technology business which engineered software and hardware designed to build customer loyalty and engagement for large, global hospitality brands. There she was responsible for account based marketing, branding, market strategy, budgets, communications and events.

Tennar says, “We are very excited to have Nikki join our team. She is smart, talented and has an obvious technologically advanced background in marketing chemical products. She is a master at integrated marketing techniques and can quickly assess where we need to focus to capture new market share. We look forward to her contribution for expanding the Hot Shot’s Secret line of products and identifying products or companies ripe for acquisition in the chemical category.”
