Borowski Race Engines Promotes Tim Zapp to Shop Manager

Borowski Race Engines has announced Tim Zapp has been promoted from lead technician to shop
manager.

Tim is an active drag racer raised in a family of drag racers and was a participant in Drag Week. As all who know him will attest, he is a true prodigy having put his first engine together at the age of 14. He has been continuously broadening and deepening his skills ever since.

Within just the last year, he completed both Holley’s complete EFI training program and advanced Rottler 5-axis CNC
coursework. Having begun his employment with BRE while still in high school, he is now in his ninth year of service. Engines that Tim has built at Borowski Race Engines are now powering vehicles on five continents.

Borowski Race Engines, Inc. (BRE) builds engines for street, race and marine applications. Established in 1968, the shop has
carved out a position in the high-end LS engine market. This was attained through ongoing investment in state-of-the-art CNC machining equipment, attracting top talent and supporting engine development with training.
