King Engine Bearings Makes Catalog Site Mobile Friendly

King Engine Bearings’ e-catalog site is now adjusted to be mobile phone friendly. Following input and requests from end users, King has upgraded the site to accommodate up-to-date mobile device platforms. This makes it easy for mobile and other non-desktop users to find their relevant bearing sets by searching with specific engine, vehicle model, or another manufacturer’s interchange.

The e-catalog contains all the needed information including specific components within the set, application years and corresponding engines, crankshaft and housing sizes, and more.

“Today, 40% of our e-catalog site visitors are coming from mobile,” says Meytal Snir Gal, King vice president of marketing. “We are excited to launch this enhanced website. It is engaging, versatile, and offers better flow of information for anyone using it, and it’s an opportunity for King, celebrating our 60th anniversary, to better project our continuing efforts for innovation and excellence as the engine bearing specialists.”

With the main objective of making the e-catalog more mobile friendly, actions like mobile scrolling sideways were added, and other elements were streamlined and improved to produce an effective and satisfying mobile viewing/researching experience.
