Elgin Industries Earns Ninth Consecutive John Deere Supplier Recognition

Elgin Industries, a U.S.-based manufacturer of engine and chassis components for the OE and replacement markets, has earned John Deere’s highest supplier rating for the ninth consecutive year. This honor was announced during the recent John Deere Achieving Excellence program awards ceremony in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Elgin has earned Achieving Excellence Partner-level status each year since 2012. Elgin also was 2017 Achieving Excellence Supplier of the Year and is a member of the John Deere Supplier Hall of Fame. The company provides precision-engineered piston pins and pushrods to John Deere production facilities around the world.

“Every award we receive is a source of pride for our organization, but this one carries added meaning due to the unique challenges associated with the pandemic,” said Elgin President Bill Skok. “In spite of all the outside distractions over the past year, our team members never lost sight of their responsibility to build and deliver world-class parts for this important global customer.”
