Ferrari Challenge North America Set at Daytona International Speedway on April 9

Racing and car enthusiasts will get the chance to see some of the most powerful and high performance sports cars ever built at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, April 9, as part of the second round of the 30th anniversary of Ferrari Challenge.

Two icons in motorsports – the World Center of Racing and Ferrari – will come together for what will be an incredible day of amateur racing action on the internationally-known 3.56-mile trioval & road course plus an opportunity to see a variety of Ferraris up close on display in the UNOH Fanzone, next to the Yellow and Blue Garages inside the famed venue. The 30 years of the historic Ferrari Challenge is the longest running single-make series in North America.

For just $20 per person (kids 12-and-under are free), car fanatics can take a look in the cars used over the series’ 30-year history inside the UNOH Fanzone and see the spirit of Ferrari, which epitomizes the power of a longline passion and the beauty of limitless human achievement, creating the timeless icons for a changing world. For advanced tickets, log onto www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com. Parking will be free in the Daytona International Speedway infield.

Saturday’s on-track action is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. and will feature practice, qualifying and racing in two different divisions on Saturday. Each race is 30 minutes long from green to checkered flag. Food and beverages will be offered in the UNOH Fanzone. On-track activities will continue until 8:30 p.m. Infield gates open at 9:00 a.m. ET, and fans came attend by entering at Gate 40 (Off Williamson Blvd.).

On the historical Daytona trioval & road course, spectators will be mesmerized with the ultimate expression of Ferrari competitiveness of the Ferrari flagship brand – the 488 Challenge EVO race cars, complete with the 3.9-liter, 670 HP V-8 Turbo engine that delivers exceptional power and racing. The car is an evolution from the Ferrari 488 Challenge car that made its debut in 2017 and delivers an unparalleled experience, performance and driving pleasure.

In addition to the 488 Challenge EVO races, other categories of vehicles on track (making laps – not racing) include Club Competitioni GT, XX Programme, Ferrari F1 Clienti, and Club Challenge cars. Over 100 historic Ferrari cars are expected to be on the track’s 31-degree banking.

The Ferrari Challenge has a total of six races in major markets of North America in 2022 – Austin, TX, which was held earlier this month, Daytona Beach, FL, Watkins Glen, NY, Montreal, Canada, Indianapolis, IN and Sonoma, CA.
