Charles Leclerc and RM Sotherby’s Successfully Raise Over €429,000 for Emilia-Romagna Relief

RM Sotheby’s is thrilled to announce the incredible results of the ‘Charles Leclerc for Emilia-Romagna!’ charity auction. Personally undertaken by Scuderia Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc himself, Leclerc and RM Sotheby’s efforts will directly benefit the estimated 20,000 displaced people living in Emilia-Romagna.

Setting a world record as the most expensive racing helmet to ever sell at auction at €306,000, The Bell HP77 full-face helmet was specifically created for the event and worn by Leclerc in the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix. The race suit and boots were also one-off items created for Monaco, with bold red-and-white styling resembling the Monaco flag. Leclerc’s race suit sold for an incredible €61,200, and his race-worn boots for €20,400. Leclerc’s rain-stained gloves sold for €42,000.

The success of this auction not only reflects Charles Leclerc’s immense talent and contribution to motorsport but also demonstrates the generosity and support from enthusiasts worldwide. The proceeds will make a substantial impact on the lives of those affected by the recent flooding in Emilia-Romagna.
