Candidates Announced for SEMA Board of Directors 2024 Election

Voting will take place online beginning May 28 and is open to current SEMA-member companies.

The following candidates are vying for a seat on the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Board of Directors:

Voting will take place online between May 28 and June 11 and is open to current SEMA-member companies. Votes must be cast by each company’s primary contact. Details on the upcoming election will be sent to the member company’s designated primary contact beginning May 28. Winners will be announced by June 21.

Bryan LaFlam, a business development specialist and Top Sportsman racer, has acquired an ownership stake in BigStuff Total Power Management, a Newark, CA-based provider of electronic engine and powertrain controllers.

LaFlam will work alongside Ben Davidow, who acquired the company in 2021, as co-owner and director of operations. Bryan will be responsible for enhancing the overall business, optimizing operations, streamlining manufacturing and strengthening the company's supply chain, the company said, while Davidow will continue to focus on product development and enhancing technical support.
