World Products Gen VI Compatible Big Block

World Products is offering a new Gen VI Big Block compatible design. This block uses a one-piece rear seal, and has the Gen VI style oil pan rail and front cover bolt pattern. The block can utilize either the OE type roller lifters or +.300″ tall tie bar lifters. It also features a Mk IV style fuel pump boss and oil filter pad. The water jacket and deck surface will accommodate either Mk IV or Gen V-VI style cylinder heads, making this block extremely versatile.

The World Products Gen VI is available in either the standard 9.800″ big block deck height, or the tall 10.200″ deck. Cylinder bore sizes of 4.245″, 4.495 or 4.595″ are standard, with bores semi-finished to allow final honing to suit the specific pistons and ring packages chosen by the engine builder. Cylinders can be safely bored to 4.625″ and with slight clearance, the 9.800″ deck block can accept up to a 4.375″ stroke crankshaft and the 10.200″ deck can accept up to a 4.750″ stroke.

World Gen VI BBCSiamese cylinder bores and .600″ thick decks provide superior rigidity and strength. The World Gen VI is cast from high-strength iron alloy and precision machined on CNC machining centers for dimensional accuracy. World’s priority main oiling system delivers lubrication to the critical main bearings first for increased reliability. Nodular iron 4-bolt main caps are used for maximum strength.

Head bolt holes are blind tapped and do not go through into the water jackets. The valley has bosses machined for four extra head bolts to accommodate cylinder heads which utilize this feature.

Part numbers for the new blocks are:

081103  4.250 bore, 9.800 deck, cast cap  1pc rear seal

081105  4.500 bore, 9.800 deck, cast cap  1pc rear seal.

081115  4.600 bore, 10.200 deck, cast cap  1pc rear seal

Like all World’s blocks and heads, The Gen VI is 100% American made. World’s new digital inspection equipment and quality verification procedures ensure dimensional accuracy and mean you can be assured of total quality and performance.
