Don Garlits Introduces 1,000+ HP HellScat 2017 Challenger Dream Giveaway

Don Garlits teamed up with Dream Giveaway Garage on behalf of New Beginning Children’s Homes to give away the world’s only HellScat and a matching, factory Hemi 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T away in the 2017 Challenger Dream Giveaway.

Garlits is an American racecar driver and automotive engineer. He is considered the father of drag racing. He was the first drag racer to officially surpass the 170, 180, 200, 240, 250, and 270 mile-per-hour marks in the quarter mile.

The HellScat is Dream Giveaway Garage’s follow-up to its very popular Hellcat X muscle car, a one-of-a-kind, high-horsepower Dodge Challenger tribute to the experimental Hellcat X aircraft, which turned the tides of the War in the Pacific in World War II to America’s advantage.

The HellScat, a tire-scorching muscle car based upon Dodge’s 707hp production Hellcat, features a 4.5L supercharger, nearly double the capacity of the factory unit, a heavy-duty driveshaft, custom engine tuning, and street-legal, drag radial tires.

Visually, the HellScat is differentiated from the production Dodge Challenger Hellcat by unique exterior callouts and graphics, including a modern twist on Dodge’s classic bumblebee stripe, bold front-grille and rear fascia HellScat emblems, body-colored wheel barrels, and custom seat embroidery.

Both grand-prize vehicles in this national sweepstakes are autographed by Garlits.

“One of the luckiest people in the world will be the winner of these two fantastic cars,” Garlits said.

The national sweepstakes will run through June 26, 2018. The winner will be flown to Clearwater, Florida, to accept the grand-prize in a ceremony scheduled for July 27, 2018.
