Sprintex USA is ramming up HP and torque for the late model Dodge Ram equipped with the 3.6L Pentastar V6 by introducing its innovative twin screw supercharger for 2012 to current models.

Proven to deliver up to 54% more horsepower and 47% ft. lbs. of torque over stock, this supercharger serves up 50 ft. lbs. of torque by 1,000 RPM with no lag off the throttle. With an additional 100 horsepower, this system delivers 60 mph in less than six seconds. The Sprintex supercharger, the first available on the market for the V6 Dodge Ram 1500, provides clear advantages over the Hemi engine option: 27% better gas mileage, 20 additional HP and 200 lbs. lighter weight.

The Sprintex Dodge Ram supercharger features the company’s patented S5 335 twin screw rotary compressor that delivers more power at lower RPMs. The thermal and volumetric efficiency of the twin screw compressor is based on a design where two helical lobed rotors, each operating in tandem, create both a left and right hand helix. The result is lower discharge temperature and pressure at all power levels for reduced engine stress. Horsepower and torque is maximized without sacrificing the life of the engine. The Sprintex supercharger high efficiency water to air intercooler uses Laminova® tubes to create greater air mass for improved cooling and consistent performance.

Every Sprintex supercharger is designed, engineered and tested to OE specifications and features high quality materials and finishes. Using stock air box housing the Sprintex supercharger is built as a fully integrated system that is reversible and all components are supplied pre-assembled. Engineered with self-contained oiling, there is no need for external oil lines or for additional upgrades. Complete installation is estimated to be between six to eight hours.

Over 200 lbs. lighter, than the Hemi engine option, the Sprintex supercharger installed on the Ram V6 delivers 27% better gas mileage and an additional 20 HP over the 5.7 ltr. Hemi.
