United Engine & Machine has announced a new series of ICON LS Series Pistons. They are available now in three levels of higher performance and are offered as pistons with pin sets or piston, pin and ring kits.
The FHR forged 4032 alloy features “as forged” valve pockets, with 1.5mm 1.5mm 3.0mm ring grooves.
Level 1 fully machined 4032 alloy is for street/strip and mild power adders (boost / nitrous). Piston and ring sets are supplied with new performance steel moly top and ductile iron napier second rings.
Level 2 fully machined 2618 alloy is for higher horsepower naturally aspirated and boosted applications. Features include anodized crown and top land, UltraWear M42 skirt coating and upgraded wrist pins. Piston and ring kits include performance steel moly top and ductile iron napier second rings.
