We couldn't spend a few days in the Houston, TX area without taking some time to check out the School of Automotive Machinists & Technology, aka SAM Tech. This accredited trade school founded and operated by the Massingill family, has been getting people educated in engine building and machining for nearly 40 years, and over that time roughly 2,500 graduates have gone on to work for shops or start their own.
