Mitsubishi Materials and Roush Yates Extend Partnership

Roush Yates Engines has announced a multi-year extension with current partner and industry leader Mitsubishi Materials U.S.A. Corporation Cutting Tooling Division, which focuses on providing solutions in manufacturing process technologies.

Roush Yates Engines has announced a multi-year extension with current partner and industry leader Mitsubishi Materials U.S.A. Corporation Cutting Tooling Division, which focuses on providing solutions in manufacturing process technologies.

This relationship started in 2014 and has grown into a multiple faceted partnership. “Mitsubishi Materials U.S.A. world-class tools, solutions and employees have given us a competitive advantage and have set us apart from the competition,” said Doug Yates, President and CEO of Roush Yates Engines.

Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions (a division of Roush Yates Engines) in Mooresville, NC relies heavily on the cutting tools of Mitsubishi Materials U.S.A. It uses a large variety of indexable and solid carbide cutting tools including; turning, milling, drilling and solid carbide endmills. The Smart Miracle and Miracle Sigma line of tools, have increased its machining productivity by more than 125%. Over 5,000 MMUSA tools and inserts are used each year to develop and produce the NASCAR Ford FR9 V8 and Road Racing twin-turbo Ford EcoBoost V6 race engine components for the exclusive engines of Ford Performance.
