Goodson bronze-liners are made of Phosphor-Bronze. It is more durable than cast iron and conducts heat away faster while retaining lubrication, reducing wear. They can be used in aluminum and cast iron heads to repair guides and deliver performance better than new.
Installing bronze liners is a straight forward process that can be boiled down to 5 steps:
- Ream the guide bore to the proper size
- Prep the reamed bore
- Insert the guide liner
- Finish size the liner with sizing ball
- Trim the installed liner to length
